I’ve been trying to figure out how to define “awe inspiring”, to describe just how touched, on every level, far reaching, I am by the opening ceremonies of the 2016 Paralympics.  You know….when humans living in the first world lament the things we lament because many of us lament…but then you experience seeing Amy Purdy dancing beautifully with two artificial legs, then blind duo Oscar and Renata dance a tango together with a modern grace…it is hard to believe these amazing people are simply that:  AMAZING.  Tissues please!  Each athlete is no less inspiring.  I encourage you to watch the games.
